Transportation information

Public Transportation

Helsinki has an extensive public transportation network that is operated by HSL. Tickets for public transportation can be purchased online via the HSL mobile app (https://www.hsl.fi/en/tickets-and-fares/hsl-app) or at ticket machines located at most stations. For trips inside the city center you need a two-zone ticket (AB, 3.10€) whereas for traveling to/from the airport you need a three zone ticket (ABC, 4.10€). More information about tickets and fares can be found on https://www.hsl.fi/en/travelling/visitors.
