Student Volunteering

ACM MobiSys 2025 will take place from June 23 to June 27, 2025, in Anaheim, California, US. We are seeking student volunteers to help ensure a smooth and successful conference. If you are interested, please apply by filling out the application form below before April 30th AoE.

Benefits

Being a student volunteer is an excellent opportunity to meet, interact, and network with leading academic and industrial researchers and practitioners in the area of mobile computing and wireless systems. Once selected as a student volunteer, the program will fully cover the registration fees. The program does not cover transportation, accommodation costs. Student volunteers will need to rely on their own resources for accommodation and transportation. Sources of these funds might include their research supervisor or their own university.

Responsibilities

Student volunteers have become an essential part in the organization of MobiSys and they play a major role in executing a variety of tasks to ensure that the conference runs smoothly.

• Attend all the schedule and be present during the conference without any unexcused absences.
• Approximately 20-30 hours of work in total during the conference week.
• Student volunteers will be assigned to a room and/or a conference session.
• Technical assistance to speakers and conference participants.
• Registration and navigation for the participants of the conference.
• Other activities that keep MobiSys2025 running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Student volunteers must be enrolled in a Ph.D. or Master program at the time of the conference.
• Must be proficient in English and have good social and communication skills.

• Previous experience at SIGMOBILE conferences and fill out the form in the link below before April 30th AoE. The results will be replied via emails on May 7th AoE.
