Call for Papers

Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal, are solicited. Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Routing protocols (unicast, multicast, geocast, content-based, etc.) for ad hoc networks
  • Media access techniques
  • Transport layer issues for ad hoc networks
  • Mobile ad hoc computing platforms and testbeds
  • Applications for ad hoc networks
  • Low power and energy-efficient designs
  • Quality-of-service issues
  • Security and fault-tolerance issues for ad hoc networks
  • Self-configuration in ad hoc networks
  • Sensor and data fusion 
  • Ad hoc networking over Bluetooth
  • Distributed algorithms for ad hoc networks (e.g., leader election, group management, etc.)
  • Biologically-inspired mechanisms for ad hoc networks
Please consult the program co-chairs, M. Scott Corson (corson@flarion.com ), and Samir Das (samir.das@uc.edu ) if you are uncertain whether your paper falls within the scope of the symposium.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: 
Authors should prepare a postscript or portable document format (PDF) version of their papers. Papers should not exceed 20 double-spaced pages (including text, figures and references). All papers will be reviewed for technical merit. Accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings.

We will adopt a double-blind process for paper review, where the identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers. Authors' names must not appear in the paper or in the postscript or PDF file. Submitted papers should be unpublished and not currently under review for any other publication.
