Mobicom 2019 is pleased to announce the organization of the following workshops and tutorials. Workshop papers will be included with the MobiCom proceedings and published in the ACM Digital Library. This year at MobiCom, we are also organising two half day tutorials on topics of high interest to mobile systems researchers.

1/2 day tutorial on Mobile DNNs / ML (Morning only)

In the first half day tutorial, industry experts will describe the state-of-the-art in mobile deep learning and explain how to incorporate these techniques successfully in your research. The first presentation will be given by Dr. Aakanksha Chowdhery from Google Brain and Tensorflow. She will explain how to use Tensorflow to achieve excellent deep learning results -- especially on mobile platforms.

1/2 day tutorial on Mobile Security (Tentative) (Afternoon only)

In the second half day tutorial, industry experts will present the state-of-the-art in security and privacy mechanisms for mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS. They will explain how these mechanisms work and provide insights and solutions into leveraging these mechanisms for your own research.
